JICA funds to set up major water projects in Anuradhapura

The Japan International Corporation Agency (JICA) funded the Anuradhapura North Water Project (Phase I) is in progress now.Once completed, it will resolve the regional drinking water shortage.

Mahakanadarawa in Mihintale will provide water for the project.

The JICA will provide Rs.

5,166 and the Government Rs.

2,789 m for the project.
