KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party on Saturday issued a press release calling on the government to withdraw the Guthi Bill.
The NC PP said the bill was an attack on the country tradition, religion, culture and civilisation.
It said the bill was also against the constitutional provisions and system.
The NC PP supported the ongoing protests of stakeholders and Guthi operators and pledged that it would strongly protest against the bill in the Parliament to force the government to withdraw it.
