Lanka Women settle for silver after two-run defeat to Bangladesh

With an unbeaten record, the Sri Lanka Men Under-23 cricket team effortlessly booked a place in the final, but the Women side suffered a shocking two-run defeat and had to settle for silver on the eighth day of the 13th South Asian Games in Nepal on Sunday.

At Pokhara, the experienced Sri Lanka women cricketers had to eat humble pie, as the Bangladeshi women defended a low total of 91 to snatch the gold medal.
