NEW DELHI: The S-P BSE Capital Goods index was flat in Thursday's afternoon session.
Shares of Honeywell Automation India (up 6.61 per cent), Elgi Equipments (up 2.43 per cent), Schaeffler India (up 1.87 per cent), Hindustan Aeronautics (up 1.64 per cent), ABB India Ltd (up 0.87 per cent), Havells India (up 0.71 per cent), SKF India (up 0.26 per cent), HEG (up 0.22 per cent), Lakshmi Machine Works (up 0.17 per cent) and V-Guard Industries (up 0.02 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Sadbhav Engineering (down 4.71 per cent), Carborundum Universal (down 1.47 per cent), AIA Engineering (down 1.47 per cent), Graphite India (down 0.95 per cent), Bharat Electronics (down 0.73 per cent), Siemens (down 0.69 per cent), Finolex Cables (down 0.56 per cent), Bharat Heavy Electricals (down 0.49 per cent), Solar Industries India (down 0.4 per cent), Thermax (down 0.36 per cent), Larsen - Toubro (down 0.09 per cent) and Kalpataru Power Transmission (down 0.08 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
The S-P BSE Capital Goods index was trading 0.09 per cent up at 15406.02 around 11:00 am.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 99.45 points at 11350.45 , while the BSE Sensex was up 335.43 points at 38744.91 .
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 38 were trading in the green, while 12 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Spicejet, SBI, Tata Motors, HDFC Bank, BHEL, Tube Investments of India Ltd.
and BEL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
