NEW DELHI: Over 100 stocks including Adani Enterprises, Bank of Baroda, Can Fin Homes, Capital First and Century Textiles Industries hit 52-week lows on NSE during Monday's trade.
Dalmia Bharat, Dena Bank, India Cements, MAS Financial Service, Mangalam Cement, Polyplex Corporation, Rallis India, Somany Ceramics, Union Bank of India and VA Tech Wabag also featured among stocks that touched 52-week lows on NSE.
Market sentiment remained negative in the absence of any positive trigger amid sustained capital outflows.
Global cues are uninspiring.
Trade conflict between the US and other economies of the world continues to be a key concern for investors.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 84 points down at 10,631, while the BSE Sensex was down 248 points at 35,175 around 11:15 am.
All sectoral indices were under pressure on NSE.
In the Nifty index, 11 stocks were in the green, while 39 were in the red.
NTPC, Hindalco and ONGC were among the top losers in the Nifty index.
