Shares of Bharti Airtel settled 0.97 per cent lower at Rs 526 apiece on the BSE.Share cost of Bharti Airtel edged lower by more than one percent on Tuesday, June 29, a day after the telecom operator revealed that it added an extra 28.2 MHz spectrum in Uttar Pradesh, in order to enhance the network capability for offering high-speed data services.
On Tuesday, Bharti Airtel opened on the BSE at Rs 531.20, inching to an intra day high of Rs 532.25 and an intra day low of Rs 524, throughout the trading session today.
According to news firm PTI, the telecom operator stated that it all set for 5G innovation.
With the current spectrum addition, Bharti Airtel declares that it now has the largest spectrum bank of 72.2 MHz in the country's most populated state.
It added that it has the biggest network bank in Uttar Pradesh (East) and is well-positioned to deal with the growing demand for data services.The deployment of the extra spectrum will allow a better availability of network and information services, together with enhanced protection in homes, building, and offices, according to Airtel.On the NSE, Bharti Airtel opened at Rs 531.25, registering an intra day high of Rs 532.25 and an intra day low of Rs 524, during the trading session.
On the NSE, Bharti Airtel settled 1.13 per cent lower at Rs 525.20 each today.Shares of Bharti Airtel settled 0.97 per cent lower at Rs 526 each on the BSE.Meanwhile, it was recently reported that Bharti Airtel and Tata Group participated in a strategic partnership for carrying out 5G networks options for the country.
The telecom operator will pilot and deploy the indigenous option as part of the 5G rollout strategies and will start the pilot in January 2022 according to created standards by the main federal government.
