RAUTAHAT, MARCH 22A 20-year-old girl of Fatuwa Bijayapur Municipality of Rautahat district has been raped.

Two dead in accident in Rautahat district
The girl had gone to a nearby wheat field to defecate at around 8:00 pm last night when she was assaulted and raped by Rup Lal Patel (21) of the same village, the victims' family alleged.
The victim had apparently cried out for help but unfortunately nobody heard her cries.
The victim's family learnt of the incident after she returned home and told them about the sexual assault.
Thenafter, the family immediately reported the incident to the Area Police Office Santapur Dostiya, but the culprit had managed to flee by then.Following the report, police were dispatched to arrest the accused.
However, he is still at large while the police are continuing with the search, according to the District Police Office in Rautahat.Meanwhile, the victim was taken to Gaur Hospital for medical check-up, informed Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Sunil Malla, Spokesperson at the Rautahat DPO.The accused will be arrested shortly, DSP Malla claimed.
