KATHMANDU, APRIL 05The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal active caseload has reached to 812 on Tuesday as 21 people tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.

Active caseload drops to 63296 with 2742 new Covid infections, 2742 discharges on Thursday
The latest reported number of infections carried the nationwide tally to 978,528 while the death toll remains at 11,951 as no fatalities were recorded today.
Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 965,765 with 51 discharges logged today.As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 5,587 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 3,278 were PCR tests while 2,309 were antigen tests.
With this, a total of 5,563,056 PCR tests have been carried out till date.Similarly, antigen tests confirmed three positive case in the past 24 hours.
The total number of single-day infections from both the RT-PCR and antigen tests totals to 24.Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.7%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.Currently, there are 106 individuals in various quarantine facilities across Nepal.
