KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 11The Nepali Congress today submitted names of 32 lawmakers for the House of Representatives under the proportional representation system. They are back again in the House! : Oh, no, not again UML wins 34 PR seats in HoR, NC 32 The party selected three men - Bimalendra Nidhi, Prakash Sharan Mahat, and Jeevan Pariyar - and 29 women for the 32 seats it won under the PR system. The party selected an overwhelming number of women in it PR list to ensure at least 33 per cent representation of women in the lower house of the Parliament.According to Nepali Congress sources, women HoR members selected under the PR system include Saraswati Bajimaya, Lila Devi Bokhim (Limbu), Sita Kumari Rana, Sushila Thing, Sapana Rajbhandari, Maya Rai, Kusum Thapa Magar, Manorama Sherchan, Anjani Shrestha, Ambika Basnet, Sarita Prasain, Arzoo Rana Deuba, Ishwori Neupane, Pratima Gautam, Manju Khand, Rama Koirala Paudel, Kantika Sejuwal, Maina Rawal Karki, Kalpana Chaudhary, Bina Kumari Thanet, Shanti BK, Rupa BK, Sita Mijar, Aasha BK, Nagina Yadav, Mukta Kumari Yadav Chanda Chaudhary, Sangita Mandal, and Jabeda Khatun Jaga.A version of this article appears in the print on December 12, 2022, of The Himalayan Times. .
