KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 20The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal has reached 19, on Tuesday as six persons tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.

The nationwide COVID-19 infection tally remains at 1,000,959 while the death toll remains at 12,019 as no fatality was recorded today.
Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 988,921 with three discharges logged today.As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 574 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 275 were PCR tests while 299 were antigen tests.With this, a total of 5,985,814 PCR tests have been carried out till date.Similarly, antigen tests confirmed no positive case in the past 24 hours.
Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.8%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
