KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 10A Trauma Centre doctor, Janithlal Singh was injured today when police resorted to baton charge to clear the road when the president's cavalcade passed by on its way back from the Parliament, where President Bidhya Devi Bhandari addressed a joint session of both the Houses.

The president was on her way to Sheetal Niwas from Baneshwor when police resorted to baton charge to clear the road near Bir Hospital.
Singh was among the pedestrians who were asked to stay off the road and was hit on the head.
