Gas, Diesel Rates Touch All-Time Highs On Tuesday

Fuel Prices: Domestic fuel and diesel rates vary throughout states due to worth added tax (BARREL).

Fuel, diesel rates today: Petrol and diesel prices touched all-time highs across the metros on Tuesday after the nation's biggest fuel seller - Indian Oil Corporation - treked the rates for the 2nd straight day.

This was the sixth increase in rates since May 4, when the state-owned oil companies ended an 18-day hiatus in rate modification observed during assembly elections in states such as West Bengal.In Delhi, gas costs were increased by 27 paise from Rs 91.53 per litre to Rs 91.80 per litre and diesel became dearer by 30 paise from Rs 82.06 per litre to Rs 82.36 per litre, according to Indian Oil Corporation.

Currently, fuel and diesel costs are highest in the financial capital of the country.

Petrol in Mumbai was retailed at Rs 98.12 per litre, while diesel was sold at Rs 89.48 per litre.Below are the latest petrol and diesel prices throughout four city cities: The state-run oil marketing business consisting of Indian Oil Corporation, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum line up the rates of domestic fuel with the global petroleum prices by considering modifications in the foreign exchange rates.
