Share market update: BSE Capital Goods index down 1%; Suzlon, Siemens among top losers

NEW DELHI: The SP BSE Capital Goods index was trading 0.93 per cent down at 18,683.87 around 02:00 pm on Wednesday with most of its
components trading in red. Shares of GE TD India (down 2.94 per cent), CG Power and Industrial Solutions (down 2.62 per cent), AIA
Engineering (down 2.46 per cent) and VGuard Industries (down 2.35 per cent) were worst performers in index. Kalpataru Power Transmissions
(down 2.01 per cent), Suzlon Energy (down 2.00 per cent) and Siemens (down 1.25 per cent) too were trading in red
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 146.55 points at 10,763.55 while BSE Sensex was down 426.84 points at 35,827.73
Among 50 stocks in Nifty index, 5 were trading in green, while 45 were in red. Shares of Reliance Communications, JP Associates, YES Bank,
Ashok Leyland, Bank of Baroda, PNB, Hindustan Construction Company, Suzlon Energy, SBI, Vakrangee, NCC, Bank of India, Vedanta, Reliance
Power, South Indian Bank, Tata Power, Spicejet, BHEL, JSPL and Union Bank India were among most traded shares on National Stock Exchange.
