NEW DELHI: Reliance Communications with over 0.44 crore shares changing hands was leading among the most traded stocks on NSE on
Thursday.
Shares of Vodafone Idea (number of shares traded: 0.29 crore), ITC (number of shares traded: 0.25 crore), YES Bank (number of
shares traded: 0.22 crore), Bharti Infratel (number of shares traded: 0.11 crore), Vakrangee (number of shares traded: 0.09 crore),
InterGlobe Aviation (number of shares traded: 0.07 crore), United Spirits (number of shares traded: 0.06 crore), Tata Motors (number of
shares traded: 0.06 crore) and Thirumalai Chem (number of shares traded: 0.06 crore) also featured among the most traded stocks on the
NSE.
InterGlobe Aviation (Rs 79.11 crore) was leading the pack of most active stocks in value terms.
It was followed by ITC (Rs 72.43
crore), YES Bank (Rs 44.14 crore), RIL (Rs 41.72 crore), United Spirits (Rs 37.11 crore), HDFC (Rs 32.86 crore), Bharti Infratel (Rs 32.15
crore), Sun Pharma (Rs 29.32 crore), Pidilite Industries (Rs 22.79 crore) and Infosys (Rs 21.87 crore).
The NSE Nifty index was trading 6.10
points up at 10,837.60, while the BSE Sensex was up 18.43 points at 36,126.90 around 09:19 am
Tata Motors (down 1.25 per cent), Adani Ports Special Economic Zone (down 0.80 per cent), Mahindra Mahindra (down 0.78 per cent), Infosys
(down 0.70 per cent) and Tata Steel (down 0.67 per cent) were the top losers in the Nifty pack of stocks.
