Market Now: FMCG index drops; Britannia among top drags

Shares of Tata Global Beverages (down 1.06 per cent), Emami (down 1.04 per cent) and Hindustan Unilever (down 0.68 per cent) declined up to
1 per cent.Procter Gamble Hygiene Healthcare (down 0.11 per cent), ITC (down 0.11 per cent), Dabur India (down 0.08 per cent) and Godrej
Industries (down 0.07 per cent) were trading with small losses
On the other hand, Colgate-Palmolive (India) (up 2.64 per cent), United Breweries (up 2.17 per cent), Jubilant Foodworks (up 0.77 per cent),
Godrej Consumer Products (up 0.53 per cent) and GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare (up 0.17 per cent) were in the green around that time
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 61 points at 10,535, while the BSE Sensex was 151 points down at 34,697.Among the 50 stocks in the
Nifty index, 13 were trading in the green, while 37 were in the red
Tata Consultancy Services, State Bank of India and Bharti Infratel climbed up to 2 per cent in the Nifty index.UPL, with a loss of over 4
per cent, was leading the pack of Nifty losers.
