Share market update: Auto shares in the red; Motherson Sumi slips over 4%

NEW DELHI: Auto shares were trading in the red in Monday's morning session
Shares of Motherson Sumi Systems (down 4.61 per cent), TVS Motor Company (down 3.09 per cent), Exide Industries (down 3.06 per cent ) and
Amara Raja Batteries (down 2.50 per cent) were the top losers in the index
Bosch (down 2.44 per cent), Bajaj Auto (down 2.23 per cent) and Maruti Suzuki India (down 1.97 per cent) too were trading with losses
The Nifty Auto index was trading 1.69 per cent down at 8119.95 around 10:25 am
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 60.10 points at 10,720.45 while the BSE Sensex was down 174.6 points at 35,850.94
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 12 were trading in the green, while 38 were in the red
Shares of Zee Entertainment, YES Bank, ICICI Bank, Adani Ports SEZ, Ashok Leyland, Bank of Baroda, SBI, Larsen Toubro, DLF, Axis Bank,
Wipro, Tata Motors, Bharti Infratel, BHEL and SAIL were among the most traded shares on the NSE
