Share market update: BSE Power index up; Suzlon Energy jumps nearly 4%

NEW DELHI: The SP BSE Power index was up with its components trading on a mixed note in Wednesday's afternoon session. Shares of Suzlon
Energy (up 3.92 per cent), KEC International (up 3.55 per cent), Adani Power (up 2.69 per cent) and CG Power and Industrial Solutions (up
1.14 per cent) were trading higher
Reliance Infrastructure (down 2.46 per cent), Torrent Power (down 2.31 per cent), JSW Energy (down 0.84 per cent) and Tata Power Company
(down 0.68 per cent) were trading with losses
The SP BSE Power index was trading 0.31 per cent up at 1825.70 around 12:36 pm
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 53.15 points at 10,782.15 while the BSE Sensex was down 154.58 points at 35,819.13
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 17 were trading in the green, while 33 were in the red
Shares of Reliance Communications, Suzlon Energy, YES Bank, Reliance Power, Adani Power, NALCO, Ashok Leyland, DHFL, JP Associates,
Infibeam Avenues, PC Jeweller, India Cements, PNB, Allahabad Bank, CG Power, Reliance Capital and Tata Motors were among the most traded
shares on the NSE.
