Tata Motors (DVR) (down 1.44 per cent) , Exide Industries (down 1.40 per cent) , Eicher Motors (down 1.24 per cent) and Amara Raja
Batteries (down 0.96 per cent) too were trading lower
The Nifty Auto index was trading 0.75 per cent down at 8273.90 around 10:07 am
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 93.10 points at 11,363.80 while the BSE Sensex was down 313.13 points at 37,851.48.

stocks in the Nifty index, 7 were trading in the green, while 43 were in the red
