NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 118.64 points up at 38,251.52 on account of buying in frontline bluechip
counters.
Shares of Metroglobal (up 16.37 per cent), Manaksia Aluminium Company (up 14.49 per cent), Pecos Hotels Pubs (up 12.24 per cent),
Banaras Beads (up 12.19 per cent), Lawreshwar Polymers (up 11.73 per cent), Khadim India (up 11.02 per cent), Ind Renewable Energy (up 9.68
per cent), Super Spinning (up 9.66 per cent), Ambition Mica (up 9.11 per cent) and Mindteck India (up 9.08 per cent) were among the top
performers.
Kamat Hotels (up 6.05 per cent) and Shankara Building Products (up 4.99 per cent) too were trading 5-6 per cent higher at around
the same time.
The Nifty 50 index was trading 37.60 points up at 11,482.65
Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 31 shares were trading in the green, while 18 were in the red
