Share market update: BSE Power index down; Tata Power falls 2%

NEW DELHI: The BSE Power index was trading lower in Tuesday's afternoon session. Shares of Tata Power Company (down 2.61 per cent), Bharat
Heavy Electricals (down 2.53 per cent), Reliance Infrastructure (down 2.38 per cent) and Thermax (down 1.97 per cent) were trading
lower. GMR Infrastructure (down 1.57 per cent), ABB India (down 1.46 per cent), Adani Power (down 1.38 per cent) and Siemens (down 1.27 per
cent) too were trading with losses
The S-P BSE Power index was trading 0.51 per cent down at 1960.62 around 11:27 am
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 2.50 points at 11,186.70 while the BSE Sensex was up 15.81 points at 37,702.18
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 13 were trading in the green, while 36 were in the red
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Spicejet, BHEL, Tata Motors, PNB, Ashok Leyland, Dish TV India, RBL Bank and Bank of Baroda were among
the most traded shares on the NSE.
