AG on India visit

INSUBCONTINENT EXCLUSIVE:
KATHMANDU: A 12-member delegation led by Attorney General of Nepal Agni Prasad Kharel, comprising senior attorneys from both the federal
government and seven provincial governments, are presently on a seven-day observation visit to India. The objective of the visit is to study
the relationship between the central and state judicial systems in India, including the relationship between Attorney General of India and
the Advocates General of the states
As part of the visit, the delegation visited the Supreme Court of India and Delhi High Court, and attended a one-day workshop at Indian Law
Institute, New Delhi, said a press release issued by the Embassy of India in Kathmandu. The delegation is scheduled to visit Gujarat from
August 28 to 30, interact with the Advocate General of Gujarat, visit High Court of Gujarat, and attend a one-day workshop at Gujarat
Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar
