KATHMANDU: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has summoned 58 persons to give their statements in connection
to the Lalita Niwas land grab case.
The CIAA, in a public notice today, has listed the names of 58 persons allegedly involved in the land
grab case that aroused controversy in the recent past.
The anti-corruption body has ordered them to appear at its office and give their
statements within the next seven days.
As many as 86 individuals were indicted in connection with the Baluwatar land grab case, on June 26
Various political leaders and businesspersons were found involved in the scam.
Meanwhile, the CIAA has proceeded with the investigation into
the case.
