NEW DELHI: Most of the infrastructure shares were trading in the green in Thursday's morning session.
Shares of Engineers India (up 4.32 per
cent), Container Corporation of India (up 3.42 per cent), NCC (up 2.60 per cent), NBCC (India) (up 2.56 per cent), Bharat Heavy Electricals
(up 2.49 per cent), Siemens (up 2.31 per cent), CG Power and Industrial Solutions (up 1.97 per cent) were among the top gainers in the
index.
While Suzlon Energy (down 3.39 per cent ), IRB Infrastructure Developers (down 1.73 per cent ), Adani Power (down 0.80 per cent )
were among the top losers
The Nifty Infrastructure index was trading 1.09 per cent up at 3,190.3 around 10:27 am
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 154.05 points at 11,594.25, while the BSE Sensex was up 509.82 points at 39,103.34.
Among the 50 stocks
in the Nifty index, 42 were trading in the green, while 8 were in the red
Shares of YES Bank, SBI, Vodafone Idea, Zee Entertainment, Indian Oil Corp, Ashok Leyland, Tata Motors, SAIL, ICICI Bank and Bank of Baroda
were among the most traded securities on the NSE.
