Stock market update: Infra shares in the red; Suzlon Energy slides 9%

NEW DELHI: Nifty Infra stocks were trading with losses in Friday's morning trade. Shares of Suzlon Energy (down 8.93 per cent), NBCC (India)
(down 3.02 per cent), CG Power and Industrial Solutions (down 2.88 per cent) and NCC (down 2.59 per cent) fell as much as 9 per
cent. Reliance Infrastructure (down 1.86 per cent), Bharti Infratel (down 1.80 per cent) and Container Corporation of India (down 1.46 per
cent) too were among the top losers in the index
While GMR Infrastructure (up 2.05 per cent), Siemens (up 1.52 per cent) and NHPC (up 0.87 per cent) were among the top gainers. The Nifty
Infrastructure index was trading 0.51 per cent down at 3,187.85 around 10:14 am. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 34.75 points at
11,536.45, while BSE Sensex was 88.12 points at 38,901.62 around the same time. Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 15 were trading in
the green, while 35 were in the red
Shares of YES Bank, Dish TV India, Tata Motors, NMDC, GMR Infra, SBI, SAIL, Vodafone Idea, Zee Entertainment and Ashok Leyland were among
the most traded securities on the NSE.
