The government has once again extended the due date for linking the PAN or Permanent Account Number with the Aadhaar number - also known
as the Unique Identity Number
In a notification on Saturday, the Ministry of Finance said that the new deadline for individuals to link their Aadhaar with PAN is December
31 - an extension of three months from the earlier due date of September 30
This is the seventh time that the government has extended the deadline for individuals to link their PAN with Aadhaar
