Stock market update: Cement stocks slump; Orient Cement slides 7%

NEW DELHI: Most of the cement stocks were trading with losses in Monday's morning trade. Shares of Orient Cement (down 6.83 per cent),
Saurashtra Cement (down 5.84 per cent), Keerthi Industries (down 4.98 per cent), Burnpur Cement (down 4.96 per cent) and Shri Keshav Cements
(down 4.94 per cent) fell as much as 7 per cent. JK Lakshmi Cement (down 3.91 per cent), NCL Industries (down 3.49 per cent) and Kakatiya
Cements Sugar - Industries (down 3.30 per cent) too were among the top losers. While Shree Digvijay Cement Co (up 2.05 per cent), Birla
Corporation (up 1.37 per cent) and Dalmia Bharat (up 0.81 per cent) were among the top gainers
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 94.35 points down at 11,418.05, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 321.91 points at 38,500.66 at
around 10:39 am
