Share market update: Telecom shares dip; Optiemus Infracom slips 5%

NEW DELHI: Telecom shares were trading lower in Friday's morning session
Shares of Optiemus Infracom (down 4.99 per cent) , GTL Infrastructure (down 4.76 per cent) , Bharti Infratel (down 3.79 per cent) and
OnMobile Global (down 2.98 per cent) were the top losers in the index
Vodafone Idea (down 2.55 per cent) , Tejas Networks (down 1.54 per cent) , ITI (down 0.74 per cent) and HFCL (down 0.29 per cent) too were
trading in the red
The S-P BSE Telecom index was trading 0.38 per cent down at 927.69 around 11:21 am
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 47 points at 11,965.05 while the BSE Sensex was down 141.27 points at 40,512.47
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 17 were trading in the green, while 33 were in the red
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, JSPL, GMR Infra, Bank of Baroda, DLF, NCC, BHEL and Ashok Leyland were among the most traded shares on
the NSE.
