The government has decided to deploy Nepali Army for the security of by-elections scheduled to be held on November
30.
Speaking at a press meet organised in Singha Durbar today to disclose decisions of the Cabinet meetings convened on November 3, 4 and 7,
government Spokesperson and Minister of Communications and Information Technology Gokul Prasad Baskota said the government would mobilise NA
to ensure enhanced security in the by-elections of the House of Representatives, Provincial Assembly and Local Levels.
The NA will provide
necessary assistance to Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and National Investigation Department.
The Cabinet meeting also approved the
criteria for distribution of royalty to be collected from natural resources among the federal, provincial and local levels
The government has authorised the Ministry of Finance to amend the Excise Duty Rules-2002, and increase or decrease tax rate according to
Section 18 (1) of the Finance Act-2019.
The government has decided to transfer the ownership of 282 ropani public land situated in Godavari
Municipality to the Ministry of Urban Development for the construction of a convention hall with 1,000 seating capacity
