President of Bangladesh Md Abdul Hamid will be paying an official goodwill visit to Nepal from November 12 to 15 at
the invitation of President Bidhya Devi Bhandari.
Bangladesh President Hamid will be accorded a ceremonial welcome at the Tribhuvan
International Airport upon his arrival, stated a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the visit, President Hamid
will meet with President Bhandari.
President Bhandari will host a banquet in honour of the Bangladesh president and his
delegation.
Vice-president Nanda Bahadur Pun, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Chairperson of the National Assembly Ganesh Prasad Timilsina,
and Minister of Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali will call on President Hamid.
Senior political leaders of various parties will also
call on the president of Bangladesh.
While in Nepal, Bangladesh President Hamid will also be visiting the Lake City Pokhara and historical,
archaeological and cultural sites in Kathmandu valley.
When asked what agenda will be discussed during President Hamid visit, Assistant
Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Suresh Adhikari said that the two sides were still trying to finalise agenda to be
discussed, but as this was a high-level visit, it was natural for the two sides to discuss all issues of mutual interests.

(Bangladesh-Bhutan-India-Nepal) Motor Vehicles Agreement during President Hamid Nepal visit.

www.dhakatribune.com had reported recently that on the sidelines of the 18th Non-Aligned Movement Summit in Azerbaijan on October 26,
Bangladesh Prime Minister Seikh Hasina had
requested Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to finalise the PTA with Nepal during President Hamid
upcoming visit to Nepal.
Both the news portals had stated that PM Oli and Hasina had reached agreement to make the BBIN agreement
functional.
