The government has decided to take guardianship of four rape victims and provide them cash relief of Rs 500,000 each,
in accordance with the right to social rehabilitation and compensation articulated by the constitution.
Speaking at a press conference
organised in Singha Durbar today to disclose 22-point decisions of the Cabinet meeting held on Tuesday, Minister of Communications and
Information Technology Gokul Prasad Baskota, who is also the government spokesperson, said the Council of Ministers had also granted
permission to the International Finance Corporation to issue denominated offshore bond equivalent to USD 20 million (approximately two
billion rupees) subject to the terms and conditions specified by the Ministry of Finance.
As per the Cabinet decisions, the government will
provide a grant of four million rupees to Nepal Carpet Manufacturers and Exporters Association for its participation in a four-day DOMOTEX
fair to be held in Hanover of Germany
Additional 47 positions of district judges will be created in three phases
As many as 17 positions will be created in the first phase of 2019-20, 15 in 2020-21 and 15 in 2021-22.
The government has decided to
provide honorary Nepali citizenship certificates to South Korean national Um Hong Gil and British national Colin Philip Smith
On the other hand, Nepali citizenship certificates of Lochan Kumari
Harlalak, Jay Prakash Agrawal and Ranjeety Kumar Agrawal will be revoked
for obtaining the certificates by submitting fake documents.

The government has granted approval for acquisition of 11.08 ropani land and 47 houses/huts for execution of
Kalanki-Thankot-Nagdhunga
A total of 147.69 ropani land and 16 houses/huts will be acquired in the first phase for the construction of Pokhara Regional International
Airport.
The government has also decided to approve International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora Control Rule-2019,
Visit Nepal Year-2020 Programme Operation (Second Amendment) Procedure and Integrated Procedure Related to Interest Grant for Subsidised
Loan.
In addition, the Cabinet has granted approval to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to sign an agreement with Russia in the area of
disaster preparedness and response.
It has decided to send a 13-member Nepali delegation led by Dinesh Kumar Ghimire at the Ministry of
Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, to participate in the seventh meeting of governing board of Pancheshwor Development Authority in New
Delhi on November 29.
