50 years

representative for Associated Press (AP), a New York-based non-profit news media company
He had joined the AP in 1960. Gurubacharya is also a founding member of Nepal Forum of Environmental Journalists
He served as its president for two years in the 1990s
Lately, He worked as correspondent for Mainichi Shimbun, a Japan-based daily until 2014. He is survived by his spouse Saroj Gurubacharya, a
daughter and a son
Gurubacharya, according to his son Binaj, breathed his last yesterday morning at his home at Thapathali. He had been suffering from
