Kathmandu Metropolitan City on campaign to construct parks

KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) mayor Bidya Sundar Shakya has said the construction of parks had started on a campaign footing
to enhance the greenery in the metropolis. Speaking in a programme organised by Buddha Bihar at KMC Ward No 5 here today, he asserted that
the KMC was continuously engaged in public construction works as well. &KMC is relentlessly working to identify the public land and
constructing parks in these spaces in the metropolis& all 32 Wards,& mayor Shakya said, adding that the construction works would be
completed in all the Wards within the coming three years. KMC Ward 5 chair Ramesh Dangol and other local leaders of Nepal Communist Party
