none-too-fresh-smelling garage some 20 years ago, are stepping back from their formal roles within the company
The pair announced as much in a public letter this week, saying it was "the natural time to simplify" the management structure and revealing
that current Google CEO Sundar Pichai would take over the role of Alphabet CEO — a position held by Page up til now — in addition to
retaining all of his existing duties.
