Stock market update: Sugar stocks tumble; Dalmia Bharat Sugar slides 6%

NEW DELHI: Most of the sugar stocks were trading with losses in Monday's morning session. Shares of Dalmia Bharat Sugar - Industries (down
5.88 per cent), Shree Renuka Sugars (down 5.22 per cent), Magadh Sugar (down 5.12 per cent), Dharani Sugars - Chemicals (down 5.00 per cent)
and Bajaj Hindusthan (down 4.46 per cent) were the top losers. Triveni Engineering (down 4.25 per cent), Uttam Sugar Mills (down 4.23 per
cent), Vishwaraj Sugar Industries (down 4.22 per cent), DCM Shriram Industries (down 4.02 per cent) and Sakthi Sugars (down 3.74 per cent)
too were trading in the red
While KM Sugar Mills (up 6.82 per cent), Indian Sucrose (up 3.32 per cent) and Rana Sugars (up 2.37 per cent) were among the top gainers
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 160.65 points down at 12,066.0, while the 30share BSE Sensex was down 532.67 points at 40,931.94 at
around 09:51 am
Titan Company (up 1.62 per cent) was the only gainers in the Nifty pack
On the other hand, State Bank of India (down 3.24 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India (down 2.41 per cent), Asian Paints (down 2.24
per cent), Mahindra - Mahindra (down 2.11 per cent) and Oil - Natural Gas Corporation (down 2.1 per cent) were trading in the red.
