Hathway Cable - Datacom (up 1.09 per cent), Balaji Telefilms (up 0.91 per cent), TV Today Network (up 0.71 per cent), DB
Corp (up 0.46 per cent) and Jagran Prakashan (up 0.18 per cent) were among the top gainers
While Dish TV India (down 6.85 per cent), Zee Entertainment (down 4.91 per cent), Zee Media Corporation Ltd (down 2.22 per
cent), Saregama India (down 1.24 per cent), Music Broadcast (down 0.56 per cent), PVR (down 0.36 per cent) and Sun TV
Network (down 0.2 per cent) were the top losers in the index
The Nifty Media index was trading 1.13 per cent down at 1599.45 around 11:42 am
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 126.25 points at 11,377.25, while the BSE Sensex was up 446.23 points at 38,855.71
