the UIDAI's Aadhaar portal, uidai.gov.in. Click on the "download Aadhaar" option under the "get Aadhaar" section.On the next page, the user
can enter any of the Aadhaar number (UID), the enrolment ID (EID) and the virtual ID (VID) to proceed. The user also gets the option of a
masked digital copy of Aadhaar card
This masks the Aadhaar number in the digital copy of the Aadhaar card, which means the whole 12-digit UID is not visible in the digital
copy.After filling in the required details, click on the "Send OTP" button
After this, the UIDAI sends an OTP or one-time passcode to the user's Aadhaar-registered mobile number.This OTP is to be entered in the
given window, as shown below: After entering the OTP, click on the "verify and download" button.On completion of the process, the digital
copy is downloaded (in PDF format) on the device being used. The digital copy - or e-Aadhaar - is protected by a password, which means the
user is required to enter a password to access the document
This password is a combination of the first four letters of the user's name (as given on the Aadhaar card) in capital letters followed by
