The first service will commence from both ends at Noapara and Kavi Subhash stations at 10.10 am and the last one will start at 7.30 pm, an
official said.However, the Sunday services will be available only in the north-south line, excluding the East-West Metro.The East-West Metro
has been suffering from poor passenger patronisation, with only a little over a 100 people riding it on weekdays.The decision to resume
Sunday services was taken at a high-level meeting of Metro Railway officials, a spokesperson said.Metro Railway services in Kolkata resumed
from September 14 after being suspended for more than five months due to coronavirus.Prior to the resumption of services, Kolkata Metro
General Manager Manoj Joshi had said that the Metro Railway will run 110 services on the Noapara-Kavi Subhash line every day, except Sundays
when operations were to remain shut for sanitisation of rakes and stations.(With PTI inputs)
