Petrol, Diesel Rates Stable On Saturday After Being Hiked By 35 Paise

In the national capital, petrol prices remained unchanged today after being hiked by 35 paise on Friday to Rs 99.16 per litre, while diesel
is retailed at Rs 89.18 per litre
In Mumbai - where fuel prices are currently the highest among all four metros, petrol is being sold at Rs 105.24 per litre, while diesel is
priced at Rs 96.72 per litre.In June, fuel rates were hiked 16 times, according to data by the state-run oil refiner. Fuel rates vary
across the states in India due to value-added tax

The local unit settled 19 paise lower to 74.74 against the greenback, amid rising crude oil prices which weighed on investor sentiment.
