the very first Kanpur Metro trainset for the Kanpur Metro project to the Uttrar Pradesh City Rail Corporation
The metro trains were 100 per cent indigenously made at Alstom's rolling stock production facility positioned at Savli in Gujarat, under the
'Make in India' initiative, according to a declaration shared by Alstom on Saturday, September 18

acquisition of Bombardier Transportation 2021 and will be responsible for the shipment of Kanpur and Agra metro rolling stock and
signalling, consisting of the scope of all Bombardier technologies.For the Agra-Kanpur city task, Alstom scope of work consists of
structure, design, and shipment of 201 city cars and a sophisticated signalling service
The project is valued at approximately Rs 2,051 crore and the brand-new metro projects will benefit around 5 million people of both the

The train sets are based upon an aerodynamic modular design and provides security, security, and ecological advantages
The metro is developed with stainless-steel cars and truck bodies, and its air-conditioned coaches will have automated sliding doors,
devoted locations for entry of specially abled, comfortable seating and standing areas, modern passenger details systems for the convenience
of guests The trains will be geared up with advanced propulsion systems and exceptional bogies to increase energy efficiency, lower
operating costs, and ensure that the trains satisfy high ecological requirements
Each train will accommodate approximately 960 guests in the three-car setup, added Alstom in its statement
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath revealed the rolling stock through a video conference
