new accountable manager, replacing Sudhir Gaur.Sanjiv Kapoor is a travel industry veteran with over 20 years of experience in the airline
industry, having worked with airlines in Asia, Europe, and the US as a management consultant and an investment advisor in the aviation
space. In his most recent posting, he joined the Oberoi Group as President on June 1, 2021
Before the Oberoi Group, Sanjiv was at Vistara, a Tata - Singapore Airlines JV, as it's Chief Strategy and Commercial Officer in March
2016. Before Vistara, Mr Kapoor led SpiceJet, India's second-largest Low-Cost Carrier, through its unprecedented turnaround as its Chief
Operating Officer and de facto Chief Executive Officer from November 2013 until October 2015, shepherding the airline through a period of
record-high oil prices and a cash crunch.The Jalan Kalrock consortium promoted Jet Airways will likely restart its operations this summer.
