Nepal records 91 fresh COVID-19 cases on Saturday

The latest reported number of infections carried the nationwide tally to 977,447 while the death toll remains at 11,945 as no
fatalities were recorded today. Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 958,555 with 362 discharges logged
today.As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 6,220 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 2,662 were
PCR tests while 3,558 were antigen tests
With this, a total of 5,442,940 PCR tests have been carried out till date.Similarly, antigen tests have confirmed 24 positive cases in the
past 24 hours
The total number of single-day infections from both the RT-PCR and antigen tests totals to 91.Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at
98.1%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.Currently, there are 106 individuals in various quarantine facilities across Nepal.
