Nepal records 65 fresh COVID-19 cases on Sunday

caseload of Nepal climbed to 4,917 on Sunday as 65 people tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.

The latest reported number of infections carried the nationwide tally to 977,937 while the death toll remains at 11,950
as no fatalities were recorded today. Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 961,070 with 192 discharges
logged today.As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 7,947 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which
6,306 were PCR tests while 1,641 were antigen tests
With this, a total of 5,483,746 PCR tests have been carried out till date.Similarly, antigen tests have confirmed six positive cases in the
past 24 hours
The total number of single-day infections from both the RT-PCR and antigen tests totals to 65.Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at
98.3%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.Currently, there are 106 individuals in various quarantine facilities across Nepal.
