Nepal records 45 COVID-19 cases on Monday

caseload of Nepal climbed to 3,135 on Monday as 41 people tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.

The latest reported number of infections carried the nationwide tally to 978,196 while
the death toll remains at 11,950 as no fatalities were recorded today. Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at
963,111with 147 discharges logged today.As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 4,752 tests were conducted in the
last 24 hours of which 2,978 were PCR tests while 1,774 were antigen tests
With this, a total of 5,508,824 PCR tests have been carried out till date.Similarly, antigen tests have confirmed nine positive cases in the
past 24 hours
The total number of single-day infections from both the RT-PCR and antigen tests totals to 45.Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at
98.5%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.Currently, there are 106 individuals in various quarantine facilities across Nepal.
