Nepal records 18 COVID-19 cases on Friday

caseload of Nepal active caseload is dropped 2,219 to 1,960 on Friday as 12 people tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.

The latest reported number of infections carried the nationwide
tally to 978,309 while the death toll remains at 11,951 as no fatalities were recorded today. Meanwhile, the total
coronavirus recoveries stand at 978,309 with 271 discharges logged today.As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of
4,342 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 2,822 were PCR tests while 1,520 were antigen tests
With this, a total of 5,523,877 PCR tests have been carried out till date.Similarly, antigen tests have confirmed six positive cases in the
past 24 hours
The total number of single-day infections from both the RT-PCR and antigen tests totals to 18.Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at
98.6%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.Currently, there are 106 individuals in various quarantine facilities across Nepal.
