delay in completion of the Kakani-Nuwakot road project had caused inconvenience to the people.
Mahat spoke of the need of
the prime minister's initiative to see prompt progress in the project to get it completed.Besides, the delegation, through a memorandum, has
urged the government to heed the concerns of locals while managing a dumping site at Banchare Danda in the district.The delegation sought
the government's intervention to sort out problems related to the non-registration of Guthi land in remote villages of the district
In response, the PM pledged to immediately consult the chiefs concerned to find a solution to the issues raised in the memo
