his party would forge electoral alliance with CPN-UML in the local polls slated for May 13.

Speaking at a programme organised by his party in
Ramechhap, Thapa informed that his party had started dialogue with the CPN-UML on forming the electoral alliance.
"RPP-Nepal will forge electoral alliance on the basis of local need in some places," Thapa added.Thapa reiterated that his party had
abandoned the agenda of monarchy due to non-cooperation from former king Gyanendra Shah.He claimed that monarchy had committed a mistake by
interfering in the internal affairs of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party.He accused the monarchy of not cooperating with him though he had
advocated monarchy for years.On a different note, Thapa argued that Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba had just conveyed his complaints to
the Indian side during his three-day state visit to India."Prime Minister's visit failed miserably," Thapa stated.A version of this article
