viral.: Rahul Gandhi in Nepal to attend wedding of former CNN journoThe aforementioned video had ablazed a war of words on social media
between ruling BJP leaders - who used the opportunity to the fullest to attack Gandhi, marking it it an irresponsible act to indulge in such
'frivolity' at a time when his party is going through internal crisis - and the Congress leaders who went on a full defensive
mode.Initially, Congress had raised questions on Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent trip abroad stating it was unusual to do so
when the country's internal matters are yet to be addressed. In turn, fhe BJP in defense of the Prime Minister had responded by criticising
Gandhi for his trip.More interestingly, later, the Indian media falsely implicated Gandhi of hanging out with Chinese ambassador to Nepal
based on his interaction with his friend at the party
This had further fueled the duel between Gandhi's supporters and naysayers.
