KATHMANDU, MAY 12A climber from Honduras has successfully scaled the world's highest
mountain this morning becoming the first Honduran to climb Mt Everest, expedition organizers said.

at Ascent Himalayas Pvt Ltd, said that Ronald Quintero successfully made it to the summit of Mt Everest at around 04:30am and became the
first person from Honduras to summit Mt Everest (8848.86m).
The climber was accompanied by Pasang Tenzing Sherpa
(Rolwaling) who also made his 15th successful Everest summit, he added.According to him, they will also head for the Lhotse summit tonight
if everything goes according to plan
"Ronald will also be the first Honduran to summit Mt Lhotse (8516m) if he makes it to the summit," Sherpa shared.Likewise, Erlend Ness (58)
from Norway became the second oldest Male from Norway to summit Mt Everest (8848.86m) and with this summit he also completed his 7 summits
"He made it to the summit at around 09:30am together with his climbing guide Danurbu Sherpa (Solukhumbu) making his 14th Everest Summit,"
Lakpa said.According to him, James Martin Miller (24) from the USA reached the summit at around 05:00am together with his guide Dawa Tashi
Sherpa (Rolwaling) making his 10th Everest Summit
"James became the 25th youngest male from the US to summit Mt Everest as per the Himalayan Database record."
