Taiwanese woman scales Makalu completing 7 mountains above 8000m

KATHMANDU, MAY 12A 29-year-old woman from Taiwan has scaled Mt Makalu this morning completing her seventh summit of
the 8000m mountain, expedition orgnasiers said.

Tseng Ko-Erh aka Grace Tseng from Taiwan reached the summit of the world's fifth highest peak in
Sankhuwasabha, Dawa Sherpa, managing director at Dolma Outdoor Expedition, said. Grace, along with Nima Gyalzen Sherpa from
Dolma Outdoor stood, atop the mountain at around 3:00am, he added.She had earlier climbed Mt Annapurna without using supplemental oxygen,
and has also become the youngest female in the world to do so at the age of 29
"She climbed Makalu using supplemental oxygen to complete her 7th 8000er," he added
Of the seven summits, Grace has climbed six mountains within a year.She had climbed Mt Kanchenjunga in the last spring season becoming the
first Taiwani woman to scale the world's third highest peak
She had also climbed Mt Everest, Mt Lhotse, Mt Manaslu and Mt Dhaulagiri and Annapurna, according to Sherpa."She wants to be the youngest
