Jajarkot Jeep Accident: Death toll reaches 11

said
Among the deceased seven of them are from Ward No
5 in Chhedagad Municipality, Jajarkot district.

The victims have been identified as the jeep driver Man Bahadur Raut of Bhagawatimai Municipality-2 in
Dailekh district, helper Birendra KC and Ammar Khadka of ward no
3 of the same municipality. Likewise, Deepak Adhikari, Nainsara Adhikari, Jaikuwara Budha, Ram Bahadur Budha, Devisara
Budha, Amar Adhikari and Nisa Adhikari of Chhedagad Municipality-5 and Bir Bahadur Khatri of ward no
6 of the same municipality, said Deputy Mayor of Chhedagad Municipality, Chandra Bahadur Thapa.As many as 12 people were on board the
ill-fated jeep (Karnali State 2001 Cha 0429) headed to Lewa of Chhedagard Municipality fell 200 metres down the road in the district this
afternoon
Critically injured Jaibhan Adhikari has been sent to Nepalgunj for treatment, added Thapa.Meanwhile, an investigation into the case is
underway, police said.
